While our primary area of focus is Riverside and San Bernardino counties, we can also help Veterans who live in Los Angeles, Orange, or even San Diego county.
Typically our grants have ranged from $500 – $4,000. Low income Veterans (especially those who are 80% AMI (area median income) are awarded the most funds.
No. The VHA is a 501(C)(3) non profit organization. While we work with local Realtors and lenders to aid their Veteran clients through our grants, our organization does not gain any commissions or money from real estate transactions.
Yes. However, we are currently limited in our opportunities. We don’t employ events / programs with a need for a large group of volunteers. However, we are always looking for new members who are interested in joining our board of directors. We do host a couple annual events each year that need some small volunteer work.

The easiest way to get started is to talk to your real estate agent or lender. They can assist you with the application process and will generally know where to get most of the forms we ask for.
